Water, Sanitation and Health electronic Library 1.0: A Compendium of WHO information on water, sanitation and health

The World Health Organization (WHO) is pleased to introduce the newly updated fourth edition of its CD-ROM electronic library on water, sanitation and health. The electronic library now includes 82 documents new and current publications The documents included provide information on water supply and sanitation.

This CD-ROM - the firs in a series - is a first step towards this objective. It includes WHO current information products on the following issues: Arsenic in drinking water, drinking water quality, environmental health in water resources development, healthcare waste, posters, safe recreational water environemnts, scientific methodology, sustainability of water supply and sanitation systems, vector control, wastewater reuse, water and health information for the general public, water resources management series and water supply, sanitation sector monitoring and other information products.
 

The CD ROM is intended to assist all those interested in water, sanitation and health by providing them with comprehensive up-to-date information. Users include public health specialists, scientists, policy makers, practitioners, academics, non-governmental organizations in developing and developed countries.
